Order 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayer :- (1). The respondents may be restrained from creating new revenue village in the name and style of Chain Sagar, Tehsil Shergarh, District Jodhpur and in case, they have issued any notification then the same may kindly be quashed and set-aside.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per Clause-4 of the circular dated 20.08.2009 issued by the State Government, it is clear that no revenue village shall be named on the basis of any person, religion, caste etc. whereas, the present revenue village is in the name and style of ‘Chain Sagar’ which is in the name of father of Malam Singh (the then Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Gada, Tehsil Shergarh, District Jodhpur), Mohan Singh, Bhawani Singh & Khet Singh. Learned counsel further submits that thus it is clear that the creation of revenue village in the name of ‘Chain Sagar’ is in violation of the provisions contained in the circular dated 20.08.2009. He, therefore, prays that the writ petition may kindly be allowed. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the name of the newly created revenue village is ‘Chain Sagar’, which is not similar to the name of the father of the four persons named by learned counsel for the petitioner in his submissions. Learned counsel for the respondents further submits that the name of the newly created revenue village has been kept keeping in mind the guidelines of circular dated 20.08.2009. She, therefore, prays that the writ petition may be dismissed. 5. I have considered the submissions made at the Bar and gone through the relevant record of the case. 6. Admittedly, the name of the newly created revenue village is ‘Chain Sagar’, which cannot be said to be in the name of any person, religion or caste. The father’s name of those four persons namely Malam Singh (the then Sarpanch), Mohan Singh, Bhawani Singh and Khet Singh is ‘Chain Singh’ and therefore, it is not similar to the one which has been assigned to the newly created revenue village i.e. ‘Chain Sagar’. Thus, there is no violation of the provisions contained in circular dated 20.08.2009. 7. In view of the discussion made above, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief as prayed for in the present writ petition. 8. Thus, there is no violation of the provisions contained in circular dated 20.08.2009. 7.
