ORDER : 1. We have heard learned Senior Counsel for the parties. 2. As of now, it appears in the best interest of both the specially abled children, who are 21 and 19 years of age, that they should stay together and have the company of each other. The younger child (19 years old) is currently in India and is staying with his mother and other relatives at Bengaluru. We, therefore, direct that the elder son, Aadith Ramadorai, will also join the company of his younger brother and stay with his mother, younger brother and other relatives at Bengaluru, till further orders. 3. Both the children shall be taken for medical assessment to National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) at Bengaluru without any delay. The mother of the children will secure the appointment in NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and will inform their father, so that he can also accompany the children while visiting the Hospital. We expect the parents to accompany the children for their consultation at NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and will extend full cooperation to the Doctors along with their past medical records. The children will mainly stay with their mother at Bengaluru; but the father will also be entitled to visit and interact with them exclusively for three hours everyday, if he so desires. The time line of such meeting may be fixed in consultation and coordination between the parents. 4. The Doctors at NIMHANS, Bengaluru, after examining Aadith Ramadorai will give their expert opinion as to whether he is in a position to take his independent decisions. Such an opinion may be given by the Doctors after required medical assessment and keeping in view the past medical record of Aadith Ramadorai. The younger son of the parties will also be provided adequate medical assistance, as may be required, keeping in view his health conditions. A report regarding him shall also be produced before us on the next date of hearing. 5. The medical reports of both the children shall be sent in a sealed cover by the Director of the NIMHANS, Bengaluru. Registry is directed to send such request to the Director of the NIMHANS, Bengaluru, along with a copy of this order. 6. This matter shall be listed before us as part-heard on 22nd January, 2025, at 3.00 p.m. 7. In the meanwhile, directions issued earlier shall continue to operate.
