ORDER : G. Arul Murugan, J. The Writ Petition on hand has been instituted seeking for a direction the 1st respondent to grant NOC for setting up of Petroleum Retail Outlet in Survey No.223/2G2 of Pulikarai village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District by the Hindustan petroleum corporation Ltd, (HPCL) in favour of the petitioner application No.HPC 16951052314260. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has been granted dealership by the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation on 14.12.2023. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner has applied for grant of NOC and the Tahsildar, Palakkad had issued NOC, and forwarded the same to the Revenue Divisional Officer on 03.10.2023. 3. The further case of the petitioner is that the Revenue Divisional Officer has also conducted inspection and forwarded a report to the District Collector on 17.10.2024 for grant of NOC. Even though report has been forwarded as early as on 17.10.2023, till date the first respondent has not passed any orders. The petitioner has been allotted dealership and has to submit NOC, otherwise he will be in a position to lose his dealership. 4. Learned Government Advocate, on written instructions would submit that already inspection has been conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, and based on the report forwarded by him, the first respondent will pass final orders within the time frame fixed by this Court. 5. Considered the facts and submissions submitted by both the parties. 6. In view of the fact that inspection has already been conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer and the report has been forwarded on 17.10.2023, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner seeking NOC on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise is directed to be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, stand closed.
