ORDER : 1. The petitioners in W.P.No.25780/2024 are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ seeking to quash the order dated 18.09.2024 passed by R6 in Form XIV vide Annexure-E in so far as the petitioners are concerned and to restore Petitioner’s eligibility to contest in the elections which is scheduled on 25.09.2024. b. Pass any such order or orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit under the fact and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The petitioners in W.P.No.26165/2024 are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ seeking to quash the ineligible candidates list published by R3 vide Annexure-B and restore the petitioners eligibility to vote in the elections scheduled for 25.09.2024 vide Annexure-C b. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ seeking a direction to the R6 to include the petitioner’s names in the final list of validity nominated voting candidates, ensuring that the election is conducted in a fair and transparent manner, upholding the integrity of the association’s democratic process. c. Call for records from the Respondent No.5. d. Pass any such order/s as this Hon’ble Court deem fit under the fact and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 3. Learned AGA submits that elections have been held, votes have been counted, and results have been announced and as such, he submits that the above petitions do not survive for consideration. 4. None appears for the Petitioners though called twice once in the morning session and once in the afternoon session. It appears that the Petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the matters. 5. The Writ Petitions are dismissed for non-prosecution.
