ORDER : S. Sounthar, J. The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue patta to the Petitioner for the property in S.No.884/205, Ward-B, Block-8, Town Survey No.29 in Uthamapalayam Village, Cumbum Town, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District by considering the Petitioner’s representation, dated 15.03.2025. 2. Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 6 and Mrs.K.Hemakarthikeyan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the seventh respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3. It is the case of the Petitioner that she is in possession and enjoyment of the above said property from the year 1965. Based on long possession, the Petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents seeking issuance of free house site patta in her favour. The said representation has not been considered so far. Hence the Petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 6 would submit that the Wakf Board also claim right over the above said property. In these circumstances, the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by either side, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 15.03.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after affording reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
