ORDER : Harinath. N,J. The instant petition under Section 528 of BNSS has been filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 and 2, seeking to quash C.C.No.524 of 2020 on the file of II Additional Munsif Magistrate, Ongole, for alleged offence under Section 420 of IPC. 2. I.A.No.1 of 2025 is filed by the petitioners/accused to accord permission to compound the offence under Section 420 of IPC in C.C.No.524 of 2020. 3. I.A.No.2 of 2025 is filed by the 2nd respondent/petitioner, seeking  to record the compromise and quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.524 of 2020 on the file of II Additional Munsif Magistrate, Ongole, by allowing the criminal petition. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing respondent No. 1/State as well as learned counsel for the respondent No.2 are present. 5. Today, when the matter is taken up, petitioners and the respondent No.2 are present before this Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for respondent No.2 have identified the parties in the open Court. 6. This Court has questioned the respondent No.2 with regard to compromise, and he categorically stated to that extent that he has voluntarily entered into compromise with the petitioner herein. This Court is satisfied with the Identification of the parties and voluntariness in arriving at the compromise. 7. Since the parties entered into settlement and compromise, the Criminal Petition is allowed and therefore, the charge sheet in C.C.No.524 of 2020 on the file of II Additional Munsif Magistrate, Ongole, against the petitioners herein is hereby quashed. 8. Accordingly, I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2025 and Criminal Petition No.2387 of 2023 are allowed. 9. As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
