ORDER : CHALLA GUNARANJAN, J. 1. “Print the name of learned Government Pleader for Services -II for the respondents land 3 to 6 anal learned Government Pleader for Village Ward Secretariats for 2nd respondent. 2. 16 petitioners in W.P. No.17044 of 2025 and 4 petitioners in W.P. No. 17050 of 2025 assailed the transfer orders issued by 6th respondent, one of the main contentions raised is that the transfers are effected in sheer dereliction of the guidelines provided under G.O.Ms.No.5, Department of Grama Sachivalayams and Ward Sachivalayams, dated 12.06.2025 and at the instance of the local M.L.A., who addressed Lr.No.278/CO-K/MLA/Dhone/2025, dated 27.06.2025 to 6th respondent to accommodate the persons of his choice at specific stations, obliging the same, those candidates have been transferred to the respective stations despite petitioners being seniors to them in the seniority list and have opted to those stations, this exercise of transfers is completely vitiated for aforesaid reason. 3. Learned counsel for petitioners has pointed out that respondents 9, 10 and 11 in W.P No.17050 of 2025 are shown at S. Nos. 1, 9 & 7 respectively in aforesaid MLAs letter, and likewise, five persons have been accommodated who are arrayed as respondents in W.P. No.17004 of 2025. 4. In view of the same, 2nd respondent is directed to file affidavit explaining the process and procedure adopted in effecting these transfers and also produce the entire transfer file by next date of hearing. Till then, respondents are directed to maintain status quo. 5. List these matters next week in adjourned motion list."
