JUDGMENT : 1. Affidavit, in pursuant to the order dated 12.02.2025, has been sought to be filed in the Court. 2. Leave, as has been sought for, is allowed. 3. Let the same be taken on record. 4. Learned AC to AAG-III appearing for the respondent-State has submitted by referring to Annexure-B to the Suppl. Counter Affidavit, which is a communication made by the Chief Executive Officer, Palash, JSLPS, Ranchi dated 04.03.2025 addressed to under Secretary to the Govt., Women, Child Development and Social Security Department, Govt. of Jharkhand communicating therein that the steps taken by the JSLPS involving the trafficked Female/Child below the age of 18 years who are the victims of the Human Trafficking, have been attached to two Schemes, i.e., in Self-Help Group and another in livelihood support provided to Household (HH) total 288 and 236 in numbers respectively. 5. Learned State Counsel has submitted by referring to paragraph-6 that the JSLPS will further coordinate with the Anti Human Trafficking Unit and get the details of the trafficked women and taken necessary actions to provide the assistance to the trafficked women by connecting them to the Self-Help Group and the same is duly monitored by the answering respondent. 6. Learned State Counsel has further submitted that further reply or supplementary counter affidavit will be filed showing the update, for ready reference, paragraph-6 and 7 of the aforesaid affidavit are being referred as under:- “6. That it is further stated and submitted that the JSLPS will further coordinate with the Anti Human Trafficking Unit and get the details of the trafficked women and taken necessary actions to provide the assistance to the trafficked women by connecting them to the Self-Help Group and the same is duly monitored by the answering respondent. 7. That it is stated and submitted that the Answering respondent may be permitted to file further reply or supplementary counter affidavit as and when required or directed by this Hon’ble Court.” 7. This Court, considering the aforesaid, is adjourning the matter for four weeks’ so that further update be given. 8. Accordingly, let these matters be listed on 28.04.2025. 9. The Department concerned is to monitor strictly so that effective steps be taken by the JSLPS with the coordination of Commissioners of one or the other Districts.
