ORDER : 1. The petitioners filed this writ petition seeking a mandamus directing the Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board to consider the representation of petitioner No.1-Institution dated 13.11.2025 vide Annexure-E, by generating the registration number of petitioner Nos.2 to 39 and further permitting petitioners Nos.2 to 39 to take up 1 st year GNM Course Final Examination scheduled to commence from 12.01.2026. 2. Brief facts, leading rise to the filing of this writ petition are as follows: Petitioner No.1-Institution is an educational institution engaged in imparting General Nursing course namely Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. The Nursing School was started after obtaining the requisite permission from the concerned government, and the affiliation will be from the Karnataka State Nursing Council. Petitioner No.1-Institution admitted the students for Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery for the academic year 2024-2025 and permitted intake of petitioner No.1 is 50. On 08.01.2025, the respondent issued notification indicating the last day to upload the details of the students in the web portal of the respondent-Board is on 20.01.2025. Petitioner No.1 could not upload the list of 48 students along with their Marks cards, online, in the website of the board. Petitioner No.1 addressed a letter to the respondent, and requested them due to technical error, the institution could not upload the details and requested them to approve the admissions. The respondent did not consider the representation vide Annexure-E made by petitioner No.1. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the learned counsel for the respondent. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that, if reasonable time is granted to the Board, the Board would consider the representation vide Annexure-E and would pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. 5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the Board, the writ petition is disposed off directing the respondent Board to consider representation at Annexure-E by generating the registration number of petitioner Nos.2 to 39 and permit petitioner Nos.2 to 39 to take up 1 st year GNM Course Final Examination scheduled to commence from 12.01.2026, and the petitioner is directed to furnish all the relevant records to the Board on or before 10.02.2026. 6. Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed off accordingly.
